WATERMELON STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE | STARTUP COOKING
This Watermelon Strawberry Smoothie is my favorite summertime refreshing smoothie! This simple combination never gets old and its great for kids and adults. The sweet berry flavor pairs perfectly with the juicy watermelon. It's frosty cold and touch of mint leaves makes it even more refreshing as a variation.
Use watermelon either fresh or frozen works here in this smoothie. In fact I love using frozen watermelon along with frozen berries for a super frosty smoothie. This smoothie is super simple to make in less than 10 minutes.

RECIPE FOR WATERMELON SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup fresh watermelon chunks - fresh or frozen
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup mint leaves - optional
PROCEDURE
- add watermelon chunks, frozen strawberries, yogurt, honey, water and mint leaves into the blender
- blend on high speed for 1 minute, or until the ingredients are blended well and the mixture is completely smooth and thick
- transfer into serving glass and serve immediately
- Enjoy !
NOTES
- if the smoothie is too thick, add more water and blend again
- taste and add additional honey if you'd like the smoothie sweeter
- you can customize this smoothie by adding different kinds of fruits
- use a ripe banana for the best flavor and sweetness
