STARTUP COOKING
Lassi is basically a yogurt based drink from Indian subcontinent. It is typically a blend of yogurt, milk, cardamom and sometimes with any fruit.
Mango lassi is one of the most popular drinks found on all Indian restaurant from all over the world. It is a yogurt based drink, made from yogurt, milk and mango pulp. You can also call this as Mango Yogurt Smoothie.
It can be made with fresh, frozen or canned mangoes. For creamy texture, i personally recommended to use frozen mango cubes. Finally, garnish this lassi with chopped nuts or saffron strands.
Mango Lassi is the best summer drink as it replenishes the body of glucose reserves that are lost by sweating. It is low in calories and rich in protein, sodium, potassium, calcium and even vitamin A.
If you looking for vegan mango lassi, you can also make this recipe using plain almond milk yogurt. Any non dairy yogurt can work for this recipe and except coconut.
