SPICY MASALA SWEET CORN RECIPE | STARTUP COOKING
Masala Corn is a quick healthy snack recipe that you can prepare within few minutes. Boil the sweet corns and mix with butter and Indian spices and toss well. It can be served with a cup of hot tea or can be eaten just like that. It tastes so delicious and flavorful in every bite.
Masala corn is usually prepared from the fresh corn kernels from the cob. If you don't find the cob, use the frozen corn, but the cooking time may vary. Don't add salt while boiling the corns. Adjust spice powders according to your taste.

Ladoo Recipes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup sweet corn
- 2 cup water - to boil
- 1 tsp butter
- 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
- 3/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala powder
- 1/8 tsp ground pepper powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt to taste
PROCEDURE
- bring water to boil in a sauce pan
- add sweet corns and allow to boil for 10-15 minutes and then switch off the flame
- drain the water and keep the corns aside
- in the mixing bowl, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala powder, ground pepper powder, salt, melted butter and lemon juice
- mix well
- add boiled corns into the masala mix
- toss well and serve immediately with a cup of tea or coffee
- Enjoy!
- Don’t add salt while boiling the sweet corns
- adjust spice level according to your taste
- you can also use frozen corns or corns from the kernels
