Homemade Italian Dressing is delicious on salads and makes an excellent marinade and it's very easy to make. Fresh, homemade Italian Dressing is so much tastier than store-bought. It's always less expensive.
This Italian dressing is very flavor and tasty on green salads, pasta salads and also for marinate meats. This recipe is a simple combination of oil, vinegar, mayo, garlic and seasonings. If you can, refrigerate overnight before using so the flavors can blend and intensify. Store this Italian dressing in refrigerator for 3 weeks and shake well before serving.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 garlic clove - grated
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese - finely grated
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 3/4 tsp salt - to taste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
PROCEDURE
- in the food processor, add all the ingredients (olive oil, white vinegar, parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, granulated sugar, crushed garlic clove, onion powder, dried oregano, parsley, basil, dijon mustard, salt, pepper powder, lemon juice and finally parmesan cheese)
- turn on the processor and blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute
- blend well until well combined and emulsified altogether
- store in an air tight container or mason jar
- use right away or store in refrigerator for 2 weeks
- for vegans, skip adding cheese in the dressing
