Homemade chicken nuggets are juicy and tender inside with a nice crispy crust on outside. Chicken Nuggets are a classic kid favorite meal you can easily make at home with just a few ingredients under 20 minutes baked or fried !
Chicken Nuggets are a favorite American snack and are much easier to make at home than you think. Choose the best boneless chicken breast and the best panko bread crumbs. Just assemble all the ingredients in to the food processor and blend well until it forms a paste and coat the nuggets in to the flour, egg mixture, crumbs and fry them in the frying pan.
How to Bake Chicken Nuggets
once you coat the chicken pieces, slightly spray the vegetable oil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake at 400 degree Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
How to Store
cool down the chicken nuggets completely and wrap them in plastic wrap and put them in sealed airtight container. Place in refrigerator and it stays good for 3 days.

RECIPE FOR CHICKEN NUGGETS

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup chicken breast - boneless
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- salt to taste
- 1/4 cup water - optional
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
PROCEDURE
- clean the chicken pieces in fresh water and drain the excess water
- add chicken pieces, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper powder and salt into the food processor
- blend well until it forms a paste
- wet hands in water and scoop out equal mixture for ground chicken and form a desired shape of your choice and keep aside
- take all purpose flour on one plate, beat the eggs in another bowl and spread panko bread crumbs in another plate
- dip each chicken nugget in flour mix and lightly press to make sure flour covers the chicken and shake off excess flour
- then dip in egg mixture until just coated and then dip into the panko bread crumbs and push in the nuggets until evenly coated
- place the coated chicken pieces onto a plate until all the chicken has been coated
- heat oil in a frying pan
- add the coated chicken pieces in to the hot oil (work in batches)
- cook on medium flame until golden brown on each side (4 minutes on each side, about 8 minutes in total)
- transfer the chicken nuggets to a paper towel and remove the excess oil
- serve hot with tomato ketchup
- taste delicious 😋
NOTES
- if you want healthy chicken nuggets, bake nuggets at 400 degree F for 20 minutes
- if you want to store the chicken nuggets, wrap nuggets in plastic wrap and put them in a sealable, airtight container. It will last in the fridge for about 3 days
- to freeze your chicken nuggets, put them in an airtight container and store for 2 months in the freezer.
