Pineapple is the second most tropical fruit in the world. It is the most versatile fruit as it can be cooked, eaten raw and can be used for making juices or smoothies. It is sweet and sour in taste with immense health benefits. It will helps in aids digestion, boosts the immune system, good for eyes, remedy for mestrual disorders, maintains cardiovascular health, reduces the risk of hypertension, cures sinusitis and cold and helps in weight loss.
Side effects of Pineapple Juice: it causes allergic reactions like upset stomach and inflamed tissues of the gum and tongue. stomach problems like diarrhea, nausea and other gastrointestinal problems. Pregnant ladies should avoid as it can be cause uterine contractions.

RECIPE FOR PINEAPPLE JUICE

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cup pineapple chunks
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 inch ginger
PROCEDURE
- using a sharp kind, slice off the bottom of the pineapple, cut the top, then cut off the thick outer layer
- chop the pineapple into chunks
- add pineapple chunks into the blender along with water, sugar, salt, pepper and ginger
- blend until smooth puree and there are no chunks of fruit in the mix
- strain the juice using a strainer
- press out all the juice from the strainer
- adjust thickness of juice with some more water
- transfer the juice into serving glasses
- serve immediately with ice cubes or mint leaves
- delicious 😋 🤤
- choose the ripe pineapple for tasty juice
- pineapple should be firm and feel heavy
- it should not contain any soft spots which may be a sign of bruising
