RECIPE FOR GINGER GARLIC PASTE

INGREDIENTS
- 50 g Garlic
- 50 g Ginger
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
PROCEDURE
- peel the garlic skin and discard it
- wash the ginger and peel the skin
- chop the ginger into small pieces
- air dry the ginger and garlic (make sure no water in it) or else dry them in kitchen towel
- add ginger and garlic into mixer grinder
- add salt and sesame oil
- grind to a fine paste without adding water
- store in an air tight container and refrigerate
- keep in mind to add less salt in any recipe that you make using this ginger garlic paste
- salt and oil help in preserving the paste, so it doesn't turn dark too
- take equal ratio of ginger and garlic
- use sesame oil and olive oil, works great
