PANEER PEAS PULAO | ONE POT RECIPE | STARTUP COOKING
Paneer and Peas pulao is yet another one pot recipe. A healthy and delicious lovely combination of rice combined with paneer and peas with some mild spices and the addition of ghee, makes it a finger licking good pulao.

PANEER PEAS PULAO

INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 cup basmati rice
- 3/4 cup cubed paneer
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp pepper corn
- 3 cloves
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 1 green cardamom
- 2 black cardamom
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 large onion - thinly sliced
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 green chili - slitted
- 1 handful of mint leaves
- 1 handful of coriander leaves
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- salt to taste
- 3 cup water
PROCEDURE
- soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes, drain the water and set aside
- roast paneer in 2 tsp of ghee in a pan and set aside
- heat the remaining ghee in a pressure cooker
- add cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, green cardamom, black cardamom, cumin seeds and pepper corn
- saute well for few seconds
- add thinly sliced onion, saute well till it turn translucent
- add ginger garlic paste and green chili
- saute well till the raw smell goes
- add handful of mint and coriander leaves
- saute well
- add peas, garam masala powder and salt
- mix well and cook for 1-2 minute
- add roasted paneer and gently mix well, cook for 1 minute
- add soaked basmati rice
- mix gently and cook for 1 minute
- add 3 cups of water and mix well
- close with lid and put the weight on
- keep the flame low and cook on low flame for 20 minutes
- switch off the flame
- Paneer Peas Pulao ready

PANEER PEAS PULAO WITH STEP-BY-STEP PHOTO RECIPE
take 1.5 cup basmati rice
soak in water for 30 minutes
roast the paneer in 2 tsp of ghee
remove from the pan and keep it aside
heat remaining ghee in pressure cooker
add cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, green cardamom, black cardamom, cumin seeds and pepper corn, saute well for few seconds
add thinly sliced onion
saute well till it turn translucent
add ginger garlic paste and green chilli, saute well till the raw smell goes
add handful of mint and coriander leaves
saute well
add peas
add garam masala powder
add salt
mix well and saute for 1 minute
add roasted paneer
mix gently and cook for 1 minute
add soaked basmati rice
mix gently and cook for 1 minute
add 3 cup water and mix well
close with lid and put weight on
cook on low flame for 20 minutes
paneer peas pulao ready
fluff the rice gently
serve hot with raitha or any curry, tastes delicious
