Caramel is quite easy to make and its flavor is very deep and rich; and puddings are among those desserts almost everyone likes and as always, homemade ones are much tastier than anything you can find in a shop. Delicious 😋 caramel custard pudding preparation is easy and it would take 1 hour for making this recipe. Milk, sugar, egg and vanilla essence are the essential ingredients used for the preparation of this dish. RECIPE FOR CARAMEL PUDDING

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- 2 egg
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
PROCEDURE
- add milk in a sauce pan
- bring milk to boil
- switch off the flame
- cool down completely and keep it aside
- for making caramel, add 2 tbsp sugar in a dry pan
- leave it untouched until the sugar melts down completely
- it turns slightly brown
- now add water
- just swirl the pan ( do not stir )
- now the mixture turns dark brown, switch off the flame
- caramel is ready
- pour the caramel into moulds or ramekins immediately
- take 2 eggs in a mixing bowl
- beat well
- add 1/4 cup sugar and beat well again until fluffy texture
- add boiled and cooled milk (strain the milk using strainer)
- add vanilla essence
- mix well
- now pour this mixture into prepared moulds
- take a large baking pan and pour water upto 1 inch height
- arrange the moulds inside the pan with water
- preheat oven at 375 degree F and bake for 40 minutes
- check by inserting a toothpick if it comes out clean
- caramel vanilla pudding is ready
- allow the pudding to cool completely, then keep in refrigerator
- at the time of serving, run a knife around the edges of the pudding to loosen a bit, then invert the moulds on the serving plate

CARAMEL PUDDING WITH STEP-BY-STEP PHOTO RECIPE
add milk in a sauce pan
bring milk to boil, then switch off the flame and cool down completely
add 2 tbsp sugar in a dry pan
leave it untouched until the sugar melts down completely
turns light brown
add 1 tbsp water
mix well and it starts bubbling, just swirl the pan (do not stir it)
mixture turns dark brown, caramel is ready, switch off the flame
take the moulds or ramekins
pour the caramel into moulds immediately
take 2 eggs in a mixing bowl
beat well
add 1/4 cup sugar
beat well until fluffy texture
add boiled and cooled milk (strain the milk using strainer)
add vanilla essence
mix well
take a baking pan and pour water up to 1 inch height, place the moulds inside the pan with water
pour the egg milk mixture into prepared moulds
preheat oven at 375 degree F and bake for 40 minutes
caramel pudding ready
check by inserting a toothpick if it comes out clean, caramel pudding ready, cool down completely and then keep it in refrigerator
at the time of serving, run a knife around the edges of the pudding to loosen a bit, then invert the moulds on the serving plate
cut and serve
