RECIPE FOR SOYA CHUNKS PULAO

INGREDIENTS
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3 cloves
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 2 bay leaf
- 1 star anise
- 1 piece kalpasi / black stone flower
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 3 green chillies
- 1 big onion - thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tbsp mint leaves - chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves - chopped
- 1/4 cup peas - fresh/frozen
- 1 cup soya chunks - cooked (check here how to cook)
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cup water
- salt to taste
PROCEDURE
- soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes
- heat ghee and oil in pressure cooker
- add cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, cardamom powder, star anise and black stone flower
- saute well
- add slitted green chillies and saute well
- add thinly sliced onion
- saute well till onion turns translucent
- add ginger garlic paste and saute well till the raw smell goes
- add chopped mint and coriander leaves, saute for 30 seconds
- add fresh/frozen peas, mix well
- saute well with the seasonings for 1 minute
- add soaked basmati rice, combine altogether and saute for 30 seconds
- add water and salt
- mix well
- pressure cook for 3 whistle
- open the lid when the pressure subside naturally
- fluff the rice
- serve hot with any vegetable curry or soya Manchurian

Soya Chunks Pulao with Step-By-Step Photo Recipe
take 1 cup basmati rice in a bowl
Wash well and soak in water for 30 minutes
drain the water and keep it aside
heat ghee and oil in a pressure cooker
add cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom powder, bay leaf, star anise and black stone flower, saute well
add slitted green chili and saute well
add thinly sliced onion
saute well till onion turn translucent and then add ginger garlic paste
saute well till raw smell goes
add chopped mint and coriander leaves
saute for 30 seconds, nice aroma comes
add fresh/frozen peas
mix well
mix and saute well for 1 minute
add soaked basmati rice
combine altogether and saute for 30 seconds
add 2 cup water
add salt
mix well
pressure cook for 3 whistle and switch off the flame
Soya chunks pulao ready
fluff the rice with ladle
serve hot and taste delicious 😋
serve with any manchurian or any other curry
