RECIPE FOR PAN FRIED CINNAMON BANANA

INGREDIENTS
- 1 banana - slightly ripe
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg powder (optional)
- nonstick olive oil spray
PROCEDURE
- slice the banana into round shape
- in a small bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon powder and nutmeg powder, set aside
- spray a nonstick olive oil over pan on medium heat
- place the sliced banana
- sprinkle sugar cinnamon mix on top of the banana
- cook for 30 seconds on high flame
- flip over to other side and sprinkle the remaining mix
- cook for 1 minute
- switch off the flame
- serve warm as such or with vanilla ice cream
Notes: Do not over cook otherwise it results in too soft and mushy.
