RECIPE FOR MASALA PASTA
take 1 cup macaroni pasta in a sauce pot
add enough water
add a tsp of oil and cook pasta
pasta is cooked
heat unsalted butter and oil in a large wok
add finely chopped ginger and garlic, saute well then add finely chopped onion
saute well until onion turn translucent
add tomato 🍅 ketchup, turmeric powder, red chili 🌶 powder and garam masala powder
mix well and saute for few minutes or until the raw smell goes off
add chopped carrot 🥕 and capsicum, mix and cook well
add salt
add less than 1/4 cup of water
mix and cook all the vegetables
once all the vegetables cooked add cooked pasta
combine altogether and cook in low flame for 5 minutes
serve hot with topped cheese if required

INGREDIENTS
To Cook Pasta
- 1 cup pasta (any)
- 1 tsp oil
- enough water to cook pasta
For Masala Pasta
- 1 tsp unsalted butter
- 2 tsp oil
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
- 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
- 2 tbsp carrot - chopped
- 2 tbsp capsicum (any color) - chopped
- 2 tbsp peas (boiled)
- 2 tbsp corn 🌽 (boiled)
- 6-7 broccoli 🥦 florets (half cooked)
- salt to taste
- 1/4 cup water
PROCEDURE
- take 1 cup pasta in sauce pot
- add enough water and a tsp of oil
- mix well and allow to boil for 10 minutes in high flame or until pasta cooked
- drain off the water and keep the pasta aside
- heat oil and unsalted butter in a large wok
- add finely chopped garlic and ginger
- saute for few seconds until the raw smell goes off
- add finely chopped onion
- saute well until onion turn translucent
- add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder and tomato ketchup
- mix well and saute the spice powders for few seconds in high flame
- add chopped carrot and capsicum
- mix well, cover and cook the vegetables
- now add boiled corn, peas and broccoli florets
- add salt and 1/4 cup water, mix well cover and cook all the vegetables
- once vegetables cooked, add cooked pasta
- combine well with all the spices and vegetables
- cover and cook in low flame for 3-5 minutes
- Masala Pasta is ready 😋. This is Indian style vegetable macaroni pasta
- serve hot topped with cheese 🧀 and serve, if required.
