Carrot Ginger Soup Video Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- 3 medium size carrot
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 tbsp chopped ginger
- water as required
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp coriander leaves or thyme for garnish
PROCEDURE
- peel, wash and roughly chop the carrots
- chop onion and ginger
- heat oil in a sauce pot
- add chopped onion, saute till the onions soft and translucent
- add chopped ginger and saute till the raw aroma goes
- add chopped carrots and salt
- mix well
- saute the carrots for 1 minute
- add 1 cup water and mix well
- cover with lid and cook on low flame, till the carrots are tender and soften
- switch off the flame
- let the mixture become warm
- add the mixture in to mixer grinder
- grind to a smooth paste adding 1 cup water or as you needed
- transfer the smooth paste back into the sauce pot
- add 1 - 1 1/2 cup of water or as you needed
- mix well and the consistency of the soup should be slightly thin
- bring soup to boil
- add pepper powder and mix well
- cook for 1 minute
- transfer into soup bowl
- garnish with pepper powder and coriander leaves or thyme

Carrot Ginger Soup with Step-By-Step Photo Recipe
take 3 carrots
peel and chop the carrots, onion and ginger
heat oil in a sauce pot
add chopped onion
saute well till the onions turn soft and translucent
add chopped ginger
saute well till the raw smell goes off
add chopped carrot
saute for 1 minute
add 1 cup water and mix well
cover with lid and cook on low flame until carrots become soft and tender
once carrots cooked, switch off the flame and let the mixture becomes warm at room temperature
transfer into mixer grinder
grind to a smooth paste by adding little water
transfer the smooth paste into the sauce pot
add more water and the consistency should be slightly thin
mix well
bring soup to boil
add pepper powder
mix well and cook for 1 minute
transfer into soup bowl and garnish with pepper powder, coriander leaves or thyme
