Homemade Tomato Soup is quite possibly one of the most perfect comfort foods you will find in a bowl. Tomato soup is a soup made with tomatoes and it is served as hot or cold in a bowl. Often, tomato soup is served with croutons or toasted bread cubes. This is really a best tomato soup recipe i have ever had. RECIPE FOR TOMATO SOUP

INGREDIENTS
- 4 medium tomatoes
- 6 garlic
- 1/4 cup onion - roughly chopped
- 5 cup water to cook tomatoes
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp corn flour
- 2 tbsp water to dissolve corn flour
- 1 cup water to make soup
- salt as needed
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp fresh cream
- 2 slices of bread - any bread
PROCEDURE
- in a small mixing bowl, mix corn flour with 2 tbsp of water and keep it aside
- in a sauce pan, add 5 cup water
- bring water to boil
- add tomatoes, garlic and chopped onion
- cook for 5 minutes in high flame
- switch off the flame
- close the sauce pan with lid
- let the tomatoes be immersed in hot water for 10 minutes
- drain the water
- peel the skin from tomatoes and discard it
- in a mixer grinder, add cooked tomatoes, onion and garlic
- grind to a smooth puree/paste and keep it aside
- heat butter in a sauce pan
- add bay leaf and saute for few seconds
- add tomato onion puree, 1 cup water, salt and black pepper powder
- mix well
- cook on medium flame
- once soup starts to boil, add corn flour mixture
- mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes
- in the meantime, heat oil in a frying pan, toast bread on both the sides or until it turn crisp
- remove from the frying pan, cut in to cubes and keep it aside
- now add sugar and fresh cream into the soup, cook for 1 minute
- Hot Tomato Soup Ready
- add toasted bread cubes in to the soup
- serve tomato soup hot
Tomato Soup with Step-By-Step Photo Recipe
in a mixing bowl, add corn flour
add 2 tbsp water, mix well and keep it aside
take 4 medium size tomatoes, garlic and chopped onion
in a sauce pot, add 5 cups of water, bring water to boil
add tomato, onion and garlic
close with lid
cook for 5 minutes in high flame
switch off the flame, let the tomatoes be immersed in hot water for 10 minutes
drain the water, peel the skin from tomatoes and discard it
add the cooked tomatoes, onion and garlic into mixer grinder
grind to a smooth paste/puree
heat butter in a sauce pot
add bay leaf
saute for few seconds
add onion tomato puree
add 1 cup water
add salt
add pepper
mix well
bring soup to boil
add corn flour mix and cook for 2 minutes, it will start thicken
add sugar
add fresh cream
mix well and cook for 1 minute
in a frying pan, toast bread on both the sides or until it turn crisp and cut into cubes
Add into the tomato soup and serve hot
