RECIPE FOR DRUMSTICK LEAVES SOUP

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cup drumstick leaves
- 5 shallots
- 4 garlic - chopped - 1 tbsp
- 1 tomato
- 2 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 2 cup water
PROCEDURE
- clean the drumstick leaves, chop the onion, tomato and garlic
- heat oil in a sauce pot
- add cumin seeds and allow to crackle
- add chopped garlic and saute for a minute
- add finely chopped onion and saute well
- add chopped tomato and saute well till it turn mushy
- add drumstick leaves and saute for 3-4 minutes or until the raw smell leaves goes off
- add water, salt and pepper powder
- mix well
- allow to boil for 5 minutes
- switch off the flame
- serve hot

take all ingredients ready
heat oil in a sauce pot
add cumin seeds and allow to crackle
add chopped garlic and saute for a minute
add finely chopped onion
saute well, untill it turns light brown
add chopped tomato
saute well, till it turn mushy
add drumstick leaves
add salt
saute for 3-4 minutes or until the raw smell goes off
add water
add pepper powder
mix well and boil for 5 minutes
serve hot
