RECIPE FOR TAWA CHICKEN

- 2 tbsp oil - sesame/vegetable
- 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 1 large onion - finely chopped
- 1 tomato - finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- salt as needed
- 500 g boneless chicken - cut into cubes
- half lemon
- 1 red chilli
- 1 spring curry leaves
- 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves for garnish
PROCEDURE
- heat oil in a tawa
- add fenugreek seeds
- fry well
- add finely chopped onion
- saute well until onion turn translucent
- add chopped tomato and ginger garlic paste
- saute well until raw smell goes
- add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt
- mix well
- add boneless chicken
- combine well with the spices
- add lemon juice
- mix well
- cover and cook in medium flame until chicken cooked well and allow the chicken to get light charred and completely dry
- after chicken is cooked, add red chilli and curry leaves
- cover and cook in medium flame for 2 minutes
- switch off the flame
- garnish with coriander leaves

mix well
add chopped boneless chicken
combine well with the spices
add half lemon juice
mix well
cover and cook in medium flame until chicken cooked well and allow to lightly charred and completely dry
chicken cooked well and lightly charred
add red chilli and curry leaves
cover and cook in medium flame for 2 minutes
garnish with coriander leaves
serve as a appetizer
