Learn how to make Instant Rava Dosa Recipe
Rava dosa is a very popular south Indian breakfast which is very easy to prepare. It is an instant recipe, crispy dosa made with semolina, rice flour and all purpose flour. They are thin, crispy, tasty and spicy dosa with addition of onion, ginger, chilli and coriander leaves. It is usually served with coconut chutney and tomato chutney. Dosa are always favorite breakfast recipe in our house.

INGREDIENTS :
- 1 cup rava/sooji/semolina
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 cup all purpose flour / maida
- 1/4 cup curd / yogurt
- 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
- 2 tsp cumin seed
- 2 tsp pepper corn
- few curry leaves (chopped)
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- salt as needed
- oil as needed
PROCEDURE
- In a mixing bowl, add rava, rice flour, all purpose flour and salt
- mix well
- add required amount of water
- whisk and break the lumps
- add curd
- again mix well
- let the batter rest for 30 minutes
- now add cumin seed, pepper corn, finely chopped green chilli, finely chopped curry leaves, finely chopped coriander leaves, and chopped onion.
- combine altogether
- add more water to adjust the consistency of the batter. It should be thin and flowing consistency
- heat a flat griddle iron pan, pour the ladle full of batter in circular motion
- drizzle a tsp of oil
- cook on medium flame for about 5 minutes, till the sides are brown
- flip over to other side, cook for 1 minute.
- Rava dosa has to be served with coconut chutney and tomato chutney.
