It is made with milk, ripe banana, cashew paste, sugar, cardamom powder, saffron and garnish with almond and pistachio nuts. INGREDIENTS
- Milk 400 ml
- 4 tbsp cashew paste
- 2 full riped banana
- 10 tsp sugar
- saffron 10 leaves
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 5 tsp almond and pistachio for garnishing
PROCEDURE
- In a non-stick pan, add milk
- add cashew paste
- mix well
- cook till it remains 3/4th
- add sugar
- cook till sugar dissolves completely
- add saffron and cardamom powder in it
- cook on low flame
- stir occasionally
- add the mashed banana
- mix thoroughly
- now switch off the flame
- cool completely
- delicious and nutritious banana kheer ready
- garnish kheer with almond and pistachio
- serve at room temperature or chilled
